THE GREAT RAPE OBSESSION PT2

Back to the word of the century, RAPE. People, especially men, really fear this word. This is why I choose to use it more.

Someone I know said to me, “that’s not rape, that’s sexual abuse..” I replied, “what’s the difference?” The person laughed like it was a crazy question, as if there’s DEFINITELY a difference. However, they couldn’t tell me a difference. This person is a male and has never actually been raped.

I know a few males that have, mostly stories of paedophilia of different kinds. However, I’ll take a stab in the dark and say tha the majority of men reading this have not experienced rape as the victim, in the west, as a man. I know a lot of men who have lost their virginity to older women when they were 17, but these men tend to see this as a “score!” It’s a victorious thing to have an older woman be attracted to you, let alone want to have sex with you. It makes these boys feel like I did at 13 (maybe without the view for world domination and alliance with Dr. Evil and his cat. Who, I surprisingly, always understood and wanted to win), which apparently is the opposite of shame.

So being a junkie of anything brings shame, being the victim of rape brings shame, but being a rapist or sleeping with an older woman when you are not of age yet, brings power. And having the sexual power over someone brings with it power, but the one who is attracted/used gets shame. WHAT??!!

Speaking as a rapist of sorts (in the past, and a rapist of power and essence, but what’s the difference besides the obvious?), I felt tremendous shame for my using of people, for my addiction to them, which is how it should be. The rapist gets the shame, that’s fair. I don't know how a sexual rapist feels later down the track after the rape, but I’m going to guess they not the happiest of people.

At first, I didn’t feel shame, I was overcome with the overwhelming feeling of not feeling dis-empowered for the first time in a LONG TIME. It was definitely a pain relief of some monstrous amount. Anything that came with that, maybe shame, was over taken by the joyous powerful relief.

However, eventually, once I became a junkie of power, the shame came in like the floods of Noah. It must have been worth it for me though, because I used people and took their power for a good 15 years. It removed all of my fears and made me feel extremely powerful and untouchable. It, made me feel like a “man.” (Then I got a lot of bad karma for it later in life, so it eventually all evens out, that’s a promise. “Justice is immediate and justice is flawless” - L. Cohen).

Is becoming a hypothetical man (because it is unecessesary for women to need more power than we are already born with, unless its been withered down from years of being in fear for one reason or another. (And I’m talking real fear, not fear in my head. My childhood was fear, after fear, after fear) The stealing of power from men was my relief from these fears that then haunted me and clouded me when I was woman. Then I would start to feel guilty for having so much fear, and then I would start to hide it, creating shame, and so it goes.

Are those who rape addicted to power or shame?
