I’m the kind of person trouble tends to follow—whatever that means.
Maybe it’s because I can’t stay silent. If saying something restores balance or speaks truth for the greater good, I’ll say it. I stand up for myself, for others, and I usually do it with diplomacy. But I’m a monster too—like anyone could be if the stars align. I’ll come at you if needed, especially in defense of those who serve truth.
I’m a protector by nature. I live to serve and to heal—not for fear, not for ego. But fear and ego are tricky. They’ll drag you under if you’re not careful.
Here’s a secret: people don’t like truth-tellers. Nope. Nuh uh. And they really don’t like women who assert themselves diplomatically. They hate that. They want you to stay in your little box, follow their script—even if it’s wrong.
People crave the illusion of control. When you shake that illusion with truth, they panic. Because being free means taking responsibility. Most people would rather be controlled than face that. So they run, lash out, or try to hurt you. Often all three.
That’s how we’ve ended up in this political mess—giving away freedom to people who promised safety. But control is an illusion. Money, power, glory? That joke’s not funny anymore.
Try this. Close your eyes. Say out loud what you truly have control over right now.
Not much, right?
Nature made us. We didn’t make it. It controls our past and future. The only thing we might control is the present—our body and mind—with effort, training, and discipline.
Me? I live by four things:
A. Respect
B. Truth
C. Creativity and the beauty of nature
D. Mike Vibes. Lol.
Because Mike understands this about me. Even if not personally, he gets it on a spiritual level.
Every time chaos hits—usually because I’ve pissed off a control freak by standing up for myself, or said “no” to a misogynist—Mike’s been there. Every single time.
He doesn’t just watch. He asks how he can help. He takes action.
That’s rare. That’s human. That’s what I’d do for someone in pain.
