“….from the plane to the fucking helicopter yeah. Cops pulling up like I'm giving drugs out, nah nah, I'm a pop star not a doctor. Bitches calling my phone like I'm getting locked up. nah nah. Im a popstar not a doctor.”
LET’S DISECT THIS PREDICAMENT
Yes I start the set with Gucci Mane Producing what really is a Nicky Minaj track, it is a great video and amazing hip hop track thanks to the talented Minaj. Thank god for Minaj, what would hip hop be without her? I fear it. Then I bring in POPSTAR by DJ KHALED feat Drake rapping, which I only discovered recently. I’ve stayed away from Drake’s new stuff because I loved the Scorpion album so much, I was so proud of Drake for producing such a great album for the 7th time. To my ears at first listen, I had heard that sexy back song from the next Drake release and then heard FINESSE, which is on the Scorpion album and there is no comparison of greatness. Finesse is a beautifully produced track. It’s a flawless album.
So when I heard this 180 turn around drake did with this sexy album, I judged way too fast and wrote him off. Even though also, he is the second-best artist I have ever seen live too. (Spiritualised is my first fave band seen live). I wasn’t thinking straight. I should have had more confidence in Drake, the stuff he has done after Scorpion is actually really great.
BEST OF…...
Best video of 2023 …….hmmm I wasn’t really paying attention to music videos last year. I liked Olivia’s take on Taylor Swift, her performance at the VMA’s was fun. But Selena Gomez and REMA win 2022. Song and video of the year, and yes it was a slow year musically, but they came out of top over any hip hop artist. And FKA Twigs won 2021/22. I think it was 2021 for that video, when Jethro and I watched it together for the first time, afterwards we kind of just looked at each other and went “……..well that was a little emotional…..” (I will post these videos up).
It is also the video that made me believe with all my heart that FKA Twigs is the new skool Kate Bush, one hundred percent.
The Weeknd killed it in 2022, with his album release party for DAWN FM, which I think didn’t do so well as an album, but that’s a great album. Best Friends, Less Than Zero and the Ballad at the end of Dawn Fm, marking the end of his story he started at the beginning of his great album before DAWN about a man hitting rock bottom ad toying with death.
I don’t know that albums name shhheshh, I’m such YouTube generation kid and streaming kid. I don’t know album names. My Gen is the “song by song” gen.
So I get a pass.
The documentary played throughout the DJ set is samples of WAR by Kanye West, it’s called War and it’s sad. The first draft of the video started with a line from a Leonard Cohen album as a picture that read “THE RAVEN AND THE DOVE.” I wasn’t calling Kanye the Raven and Kim the Dove, HELL NO! If anything, Kanye is both. But it’s interesting that I noticed a dove is part of the game Kanye is playing at the beginning of the doco. I believe it’s some kind of important token or the token you need to win. Coincidence? Yes but idk…..
Why is this doco sad? Well Kanye made it so he wants you to know he is feeling alone in all of this. But we all do if we compassionate, honest people.
Compassionate, honest people feel isolated easy, probably because they are. It can be hard to find people who will understand.
Kanye has obviously found a few people who think they understand, sometimes I wonder is it the hate that keeps him in the public eye, more than his music or mind? Two things that next to none of his contemporaries measure up too, let alone his fans or haters.
I understand YE, and in making this video/dj set I had a sad insight into Ye’s state during the last video of him talking with the balaclava on and the Jewish drama going on with him at the time.
I believe him when he says the Kardashians were trying to keep him from his kids, and this was probably in consequence of Ye not agreeing with something Kris wanted and Kim being a little bitch and just following what her mother says. Kylie Jenner also joined the clan, talking smack about Ye, saying he was teaching North West to be violent or some dumb shit.
Ye, has always been quite good at foreseeing these events, aka Taylor Swift’s attempt at sabotaging him, which blew up in her face when Ye filmed her saying the opposite to what she was saying in public about Ye’s track “Famous.” Taylor went into exile for one year after the video was released and got a lot of hate from the people for it, it was nearly career ending.
This is something she never really admitted to or apologised for, and continued to play the victim?? (idk). Obviously taking her frustration of losing out with Kanye, on this Scooter Braun dude. If this Braun scenario wasn’t just a publicity stunt, which all evidence points strongly to it being so.
The other day I watched the video Ye made calling Taylor and revealing her for being a liar, and I saw to the side opposite Ye as he called Taylor was Rick Rubin, laying down smoking weed and chilling. I got the immediate feeling that Rick Rubin had a lot to do with this phone call recording after seeing that. It was probably he who caught wind of the games Taylor was playing and suggested too Ye to expose her. Which is funny to think about. Makes me not hate the guy like I always kind of have, I can’t stand the whole hippy who was born with a silver spoon act. But I have recognised his production style as really great and made Ye the musician he is today.
Did Rubin have anything to do with the death con tweet? And that whole plan, it makes me think……… I hope so.
Because it was genius and Kanye won his kids back against Kim, thanks to getting out of Balenciaga’s contract before the kids BDSM photos were released, leaving Kim in the hot seat. Who handled it very badly too. Sucked in!
In any case, the tweet served this purpose which is good.
However, back to my Ye insight, I was listening to him when I was DJing music over the top of his samples of video and I really just wanted to tell him it would be ok and hug him when he was ranting about the CCP and all that, which he is right about all of, but I could see it wasn’t the actual issue. It’s obvious why he is making such a big deal about the Jewish bullshit, he is just keeping drama in his life because he is fucking feeling alone.
He will ALWAYS feel alone now his mother has passed. My soul mate Andre suffered from this and killed himself in consequence of it eventually. I can see this pain of grief plaguing Ye, and I see little to no real support in his life besides his kids. This seems to be a very common problem among us who suffer from grief. People don’t know how to support the grieving. So they just go away because that is easier, or hate because people are rationising retards?
This is why I start silencing Ye while he is talking during the balaclava rant because that’s me wanting to just stop and hug him and tell him that I understand his pain.
He’s not alone.
KANYE WEST’S DISTRACTIONS
I had an insight into it, and it made me cry a sea of tears for him.
I DEPICT it in this DJ set. Played over the documentary WAR by Kanye West. It goes silent when Kim enters into it for 2 mins, but I only go silent for 5 seconds. I did this because Kanye did this in his doco, and It was out of respect for his artistic integrity.
However, there is a part where I’m seemingly silencing him in the church balaclava part, but I’m not. Recognise the song lyrics I’m silencing him with, and that was my insight.
He feels alone and just misses his mother.
It’s a simple as that, can we not have compassion for that?
The Jews fucked him over, he works in race talk. He has even made villains of black people when it is called for. So he’s not racist, it’s just how he sees the world.
I do too, and in sex. As in male and female.
DEATH ROW
(I always have a secret track at the end of each set BTW so don’t switch off until it’s black)
This DJ set is dedicated to JETHRO CAVE my best friend and lover who died in May 2022 and also dedicated to ANDRE my soul mate who died 4 years earlier on New Year's Day 2017.
Now I am alone like Kanye and I understand the pain.
This is my Foxy/moron DJ set, “Kanye West’s Discernment.”

SIDE NOTES
I initially silenced Kanye with this Frank Ocean Track subconsciously, until I woke up to what I was doing and was watching the set with a friend for feedback, and my friend was saying something about what Ye was saying, and I just said….
“Yeah, but, he is just doing all of this because he misses his……” And I couldn’t even get the word “mum” out without nearly bursting into a huge break-down cry.
Grief sucks. It’s hard, sad, lonely and demotivating. It’s a pain I have never felt before. Similarly, it can be like thinking someone you really love doesn’t love you anymore or even tells you they don’t love you anymore, its a feeling very similar to grief.
But Grief is a pretty unique experience, and I have no proof yet that it ever ends. I’ve had it all my life, but the grief I experienced for another person…..well that was different. VERY different. Both of them were different too.
I think all you can do is just cry.
You just cry.

For Jethro Leeroy Lazenby Cave, who I will never stop grieving.
And Andre my only Soul Mate who I still will grow old with dead or alive. I can’t not.
